Sex and the City of God...Marriage is An Image

I have started a 6 week series on marriage with my youth group and this past Wednesday was the second lesson in that series. I started this series first of all because after reading and preparing and going through pre-marriage counciling I decided to further my studies and become the man of God and husband God would have me to be but I also did this for my youth. They would deny it infront of me of course but in some way or another they are thinking about the opposite sex whether it is physical, bf and gf, or dating and I consider it a role of mine to teach them BIBLICALLY what marriage means and what they should be doing now that honors God.
It is more important, now more than ever that teenagers from a biblical point of view understand what marriage is and how to prepare their life in order for God to bless them with the one they should marry and this is the reason for this biblical series on Wed Nite Youth at NHBC.

First of all we don’t deserve to show His love
Most ppl misuse God’s purpose of marriage
This misuse destroys the image of God’s love

GROW TO BE AN IMAGE BEARER NOT BREAKER

God calls some people to singleness
But with conditions

-To be single is a gift from God
-Paul says it is good to be like he is, single so to focus
